Honey Yogurt With Pomegranate & Pistachios - Breakfast Review

I'm still embracing the exotic here, and the fact that pomegranates are loaded with vitamin C (as well as being a 'superfood') this was definitely counting in its favour for me eating it, as colds and coughs have been rampant in the office.  This recipe came from Gina at Skinny Taste, guest posting at Dash Recipes:

And here's what I made:

The Verdict:

Taste/Texture:

Honey, pistachios, pomegranate and yoghurt are all flavours I associate with Middle Eastern and North African dishes, but I've never actually tried them all together before, however it certainly won't be the last time I do, this was a fabulous breakfast.

Substitutions:

I threw in some extra pomegranate, I need that vitamin C ;o)

Ease Of Preparation:

Super easy once you've prised the pomegranate seeds out (and if your honey hasn't gone solid so you have to remelt it again like I did!)

Amount Made:

This is kind of an 'make as much as you need' recipe, so go forth and do so.

Final Verdict:

This is definitely something to revisit.

Since I like all of the ingredients in this I'm sure I'll want to add it to my Yum list.
